Personal profile
I am interested in the geoscience field, such as geothermal energy, groundwater and environmental activities because I want to offer my small contribution to help building a better world, maybe not just for us, but for our children and for the next generations. That is why I had the unbelievable opportunity to participate as an intern in the Center of Investigation EnergyLab in Vigo, Spain and write my Master thesis in the Renewable energies field. At the same time, I love playing baseball and exercise. This passion has given me the opportunity to be a member of two Baseball and Softball clubs in Aarhus and engage with the local Danes.

Your student experience at Lærdansk Aarhus
It is an incredible place to study, where I have access to all the facilities in order to learn Danish properly, but also to have breaks and play foosball table or relax and have naps on the big bean bags.

A funny experience from when you started to learn/use the Danish language
An easy and at the same time hilarious phrase I learnt at the beginning was 'being thirsty'. In Danish 'thirsty' is 'tørstig' and for me its pronunciation is similar to 'toast'. That is why I associated 'you are thirsty' with 'you are toast'.

Your experience as an Ambassador
As an Ambassador, I participated in different events and I had the opportunity to get in contact with people from several nationalities, increasing my personal and professional network. In this way, I have been improving my communication, social media and interpersonal skills.

Short description of your individual project
My project is about Danish movies and I am going to engage the audience on the social media channels through posts and brief summaries about Danish films. See an example of my posts here.
