Staff and spouses at University of Southern DenmarkWe offer international staff members and their spouses free Danish courses at beginner and advanced levels. The courses are planned as a cooperation between University of Southern Denmark and Lærdansk Odense and the courses take place on campus. We have highly educated and experienced teachers and use modern materials to ensure a fast and efficient learning process
The University of Southern Denmark is a parallel language work place, where both Danish and English are used as working languages. This is why we offer new international employees a variety of special and customised Danish language courses.
To enrol in the programme, you need to contact your department secretary or Carolin Lemke Jensen from HR Development at firstname.lastname@example.org, within two weeks of obtaining your CPR number. Participation in the programme is free, as are all teaching materials.
You will be invited to an assesment meeting with a language consultant from Lærdansk. Based on this meeting, the language consultant will determine your level and place you in an appropriate class. If you have a spouse/partner, he or she will receive the same offer. Programme participants are matched with regard to level and learning objectives.
Where and when:
Teaching will take place during normal working hours. The classes are currently held at different locations at SDU. You will receive an email with information about time and place.
