Aarhus

The whole world meets at Lærdansk in Aarhus. We are Denmark's largest language center with approx. 4000 course participants from more than 100 countries. The majority are in Aarhus to work or study, while others are refugees searching for jobs. This creates an international atmosphere and an exciting learning environment, which includes spacious classrooms, a beautiful canteen and a modern multicenter with many services that support the instruction.

Youth Project - "På Sporet"

"På Sporet" is a youth project, which is a collaboration between Aarhus Municipality and VUC Aarhus. The overall objective of the project is to prepare young students to the Danish education system - and give them the best chance to succeed in Danish society.

The project is for young people aged 18-30 years who are on DU2 and DU3. The course is a combination of 20 weekly hours of Danish lessons and 10 hours of in social studies, math and English. All classes are at VUC Aarhus as participants in this way can be a part of a young environment.

The project has so far been a great success. In August-September 2016 we completed our first course with a mixed DU2/DU3 class. All participants have now started full time at VUC Aarhus. In January 2017 we started another class at DU2 level, who are preparing for the final Danish test this summer.
