Lærdansk Middelfart has students from 28 countries. The tuition is to a large extent based on interactive media such as Skype, Smartboards and Intranet.
All our teachers are required to have at least a BA in languages and an MA in Danish as a second language. The teachers take the individual student’s needs as their starting point for tuition.
In class
There are 10-20 students in each class. All tuition takes place in Danish, except at special courses. The amount of homework varies, but you must count on homework every day. Textbooks and dictionaries can be borrowed at the school, so all you need to buy is paper, pencils and notebooks. If you take your Danish classes in the evening at Lærdansk Middelfart, you have the possibility to make
use of an open study workshop every Thursday evening, where there’s also the chance to speak to a teacher, if you need to.

Attendance policy
As a rule we expect you to always attend class. We are well aware that many factors may influence a study environment and therefore we have continuous focus on satisfaction and absence. We have good results from communicating with the students via text messages, e-mail and/or our student intranet, kursistintra.
