From all over the world, people get together at Lærdansk and have one thing in common, learning Danish. But the reason to go to language school varies from person to person. Just as prerequisites and history vary.
We have asked some of our students why they attend Lærdansk. One of them is Michael from Germany. He explains:
More fun at work
I am an evening student and work at a fish factory during the day. I am from Germany, but have come to Denmark to live with my Danish girlfriend. When I first started working I managed by speaking English and my colleagues spoke English to me. But I wanted to learn Danish too, because many jobs require both spoken and written Danish.
I'm pleased with the tuition and feel that I've improved. Now I both understand and speak better Danish. So now it's become much more fun and easy to communicate with my colleagues when I'm at work.
